Limitless Capabilities, Raising the efficiency of 27 NGOs at the level of 9 governorates: (From Upper Egypt: Minya, Assiut, Sohag) – (Delta: Damietta, Gharbia, Dakahlia, Sharqia) – (Canal Region: Suez, Port Said)
To provide early intervention services and support school and community integration for children with intellectual disabilities, developmental disorders and autism spectrum to rehabilitate and train them to acquire skills through the development of the technical capabilities of specialists working in the field and the basic components of the success of the project will be the implementation of the work of:
- 3 Accredited training manuals for early intervention specialists, school and community integration support specialists (8-14 years old) and technical officials, as these manuals will be approved by the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
- Guide to technical standards for associations for the care and rehabilitation of persons with intellectual disabilities, developmental disorders and autism spectrum.
- Building the capacity of 27 associations that provide support to children with intellectual disabilities, developmental disorders and autism spectrum by training 162 of their specialists (noting that the trainings in the project are based on the strategy of preparing trainers for trainers (TOT) “through 48 training hours for each specialist”) and accrediting them after passing the rehabilitation of 1080 children with autism disorder and similar developmental disabilities and training 1620 specialists and 1080 parents.
- Equipping associations with intervention tools to work with children (27 technical training tools for technical officials of associations) after they pass the training and are accredited.
Producing a series of educational videos targeting parents and junior specialists about autism, its definition, symptoms, causes, diagnosis, various intervention programs, communication problems, the role of the family in developing children’s skills and other topics and making them available online by publishing them on the “Ataa Fund” platform.
